The Library
Another quiet morning spent in the library. What to eat for lunch at New Woody's? Hmmm. Those french fries and burgers sure are good. I will probably get a salad. Yum, yum.

The Fog at Woodbury
There is a marine layer that hoovers over Los Angeles most mornings. This low lying cloud makes the greens greener and the flowers more colorful. It is kind of grey today, but the bright purple flowers make the day seem cheerful.

Life with the Beta
Currently, I am taking care of a beta fish named Lily. I realized yesterday afternoon that its water was running a bit low. I was worried that it would run out of oxygen and die. I worried about what type of water to add. Confession: I once killed a fish by adding the wrong kind of water. After a few moments on the Internet, I was happy to realize that the same bottled water that I drink could just be added to the pre-existing water in the bowl. I fell asleep as the fish happily glided in its bowl with it blue and red fins and tail swaying in the ample supply of water.
Note: Beta fish live in small ponds and are often know to jump from one pond to another in search of the next big splash.

The Library Goes POP!
When seated in the lovely library at Woodbury University, there is a painting of eight irregular spheres in space. The orbs have magenta hues perhaps from the sun reflecting off of them. My co-worker, Veronika, swears that the painting is of burned potatoes.
